Your dancer will be photographed by Franklin Knox of Shining Stars Photo, a certified professional dance photographer with over 37 years of experience. Franklin discovered his passion for dance photography after watching his sister perform, and has since dedicated his career exclusively to capturing dancers. He is formally trained in dance photography and committed to delivering wall-worthy images that reflect the artistry and hard work of every dancer.

Important: Group photos are taken first, followed by individual portraits. All dancers must arrive at the beginning of their group's time slot. Once dancers finish their group photo and individual photos they may leave.

Arrival & Preparation Reminders

⚠️ Please arrive FULLY ready — hair, makeup, and costume complete.

There is limited time per group. Dancers who arrive unprepared may miss their individual portrait session. Do not leave makeup, tights, or costume pieces at home.

What Your Dancer Must Have at Arrival

✓Hair fully styled and secured (bun or style per costume requirements)
✓Stage makeup fully applied before arrival — foundation, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and red lipstick
✓Costume on and properly fitted — all pieces, layers, and accessories included
✓Tights on and wrinkle-free (correct color per costume)
✓Dance shoes packed and ready to change into
✓Nails: clear polish only — no colored, glitter, or gel nail polish
